It is mainly engaged in the design, research and development of AI visual navigation microchip for mobile robots and the assist of machine manufacturers for mobile robots based on such microchips, and provides AI visual navigation module solutions for various application scenarios including sweeping robot, intelligent UAV and intelligent AGV and so on. The company was established at the end of 2015 under the background of “civil-military integration” which called by the state. The main core team includes several doctors from famous universities at home and abroad. At present, it has completed three rounds of financing totaling tens of millions of RMB. The company's main core technologies include synchronized data capture of multiple sensors, visual SLAM fusing multi-modal sensors, deep-learning-based/traditional-algorithm-based stereo matching, embedded deep-learning-based target detection and recognition and image rectification and mosaicking, etc. The stereo matching algorithm which company owned ranked the third place among global competitors in the KITTI benchmark, and the members of our team won the first in the world of stereo matching single event in the CVPR2018 RWVC Challenge Competition. HiSignal has a senior team for microchip developing. The core members of the team have been participated in projects supported by National Science and Technology Major Project since 2008, and have successfully designed nearly ten high-end general processor microchips and modules which have become massive productions. Its team managed to propose a novel embedded architecture of AI visual processing unit for mobile robot navigation shortly after the establish of HiSignal. The microchip will be put into production in 2019. Our products mainly include monocular/stereo vSLAM modules for mobile robots in various applications, structured-light-enhanced stereo vision modules, embedded deep-learning-based target detection modules and ultra-high resolution 360-degrees real-time onboard mosaicking modules, etc. Our goal is to continuously optimize the self-developed microchip architecture and to provide a variety of vision-based multi-sensor fusing AI navigation solutions for mobile robots in different scenarios.
